Applying grip coating on rollers dia 323.9 x 5858 mm – 2 pcs.
The Challenge
- Customer wishes to be able to wind more meters of fabric on the same diameter.
- This requires a greater tensile force, but the current grip system cannot provide this.
- In addition, the studded tape used wears off quickly, further reducing grip.
- In addition, the glued studded tape often comes loose, resulting in downtime and maintenance costs and also creating quality problems during winding.
Solution
Removal of the current system and application of a wear-resistant grip coating tailored to the application.
